The Elias S. Herber who served in the 176th Pennsylvania Infantry, Company I, as a Musician, is buried at Allentown’s Fairview Cemetery, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.  Although the grave marker reads “Herbert,” the veteran buried here was actually the one who served in both the 176th Pennsylvania Infantry and the 50th Pennsylvania Infantry, Company E.   Those […]
