George Nagle, born about 1824, enrolled in the 96th Pennsylvania Infantry, Company B, as a Private at Pottsville, on 23 September 1861. He died at Washington, D.C., on 9 January 1864 of typho-malarial fever. His widow, Lucinda [Martz] Nagle applied for pension benefits based on his service, which she received.
